چکیده
Purpose: Centrifugal pumps are prone to vibration problems during operation due poor dynamic characteristics of its impellers that serve as the only running parts such devices; impeller main reasons for centrifugal pump. Therefore, it is important study internal fluid flow and influence on pump explore causes transient start-up process. The understanding phenomena may lead better design impellers. Methods: geometry channel inside established using Creo 4.0 software (American PTC company). computer simulation carried out Flomaster V9 (UK Flowmaster company) obtain variation law speed pump, which loaded into calculation process was further processed fluid-structure coupling method, structural under radial force obtained by harmonic response analysis. Results: During starting first increased sharply then decreased until reaching a stable this period, changed sharply; overall amplitude fluctuated stably at 0.01 mm. In unsteady numerical changes periodically. time domain signal transformed frequency signal, fundamental passing blade 101.67 Hz 610 Hz, respectively. Conclusions: cause vibration, has least impact structure condition relatively large off-design condition. order ensure necessary avoid working non-standard condition, especially small

متن کاملApplication of Fluid/Structure Interaction Methods to Determine the Impeller Orbit Curves of a Centrifugal Pump
Sewage water pumps very often are equipped with impellers featuring a small number of blades which therefore provide big cross sections of the flow channel. Single-blade impellers comprise the smallest possible number of blades and are known as non-clogging pumps. But severe disadvantages occur during operation, because the timevariant flow in such pumps results in periodic unsteady flow forces...
